Transfer Students
A supportive path forward — built for adult learners.
At Caprice Carthans Academy, we understand that traditional education does not work for everyone. Many adult learners come to us after struggling with standardized testing, including the GED. Others simply need a learning environment that fits their life, schedule, and learning style.
Our program is designed to meet you where you are and help you move forward with confidence.
A Different Approach to Learning
Caprice Carthans Academy is not a GED program. We offer a real high school diploma earned through coursework, projects, and assessments — not one high-pressure exam.
Our adult learning model focuses on:
- Project-based learning
- Ongoing assessments to support understanding
- No large, high-stakes exams
- Learning that builds over time
Transcript Evaluation
$25 one-time transcript evaluation fee (non-refundable)
During the evaluation, we review:
- Previously completed high school coursework
- Transferable credits
- Remaining graduation requirements
Transfer Credit Policy
Because Caprice Carthans Academy is an adult learning program, we accept a maximum of 16 transfer credits.
All transfer students are required to complete at least 8 credits with us to:

- Support readiness for graduation
